Newton’s Third law experiment
OBJECTIVE
To investigate Newton’s Third Law of Motion, which states that for every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction, using two IOLab devices without the need for carts.
MATERIALS
- Two IOLab devices
- A strong elactic band or spring
- A smooth, flat surface (like a tabletop or a lab bench)
- Tape
- Computer with IOLab software installed
